This week I practiced capturing pictures with lighting and a couple reflections. I tried indoor incandescent bulbs and outdoor sunny light. I practiced where to aim the light, and where to place my camera when taking a picture. Bellow are a few images of my experimentation.
In my concentration series I will be exploring reflections. I will include mirrors and other reflective surfaces. I plan on using scale, space, rule of thirds, and value and contrast. I think reflection can create a unique imagery. I like how reflection shows a different meaning opposed to a normal picture of something. A picture that is not reflected can show an object feeling alone, and with the mirror, the objects’ company is its reflection.

Your concentration statement needs some clarifying. Please take out the conversational elements such as "of course." You have a runon sentence or two as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm a little confused by your images. The ceiling photos don't appear to have a reflection anywhere. What do you want to say with mirrors? I would experiment with angles within reflections for your next images. What could you say through the use of reflected imagery? Do you want to distort reality? Distort space? I need more information from you.
